Games are cancalled for May 13th due to a scheduling conflict with Kean.
Normally scheduled games will resume on May 20th.

Indoor pick-up will resume on July 12th (yay air conditioning!).

Welcome to another wonderful season of the NJFHA!

The NJFHA currently offers players an opportunity to play year round. You can choose to play one or all of the following seasons!

Fall Field Hockey

This season starts the first Sunday after Labor Day and runs for 10 weeks (8 weeks of round-robin play, 2 weeks of playoffs). All games are played on Sunday and every team plays each week, even during playoffs. This is our largest and most competitive season. We usually have 8-10 teams with 15-20 players per team. Games consist of two 30-minute halves. Cost for Fall registration is $100. Games are played outdoors on field turf at Kean University in Union, NJ.

Winter Field Hockey

This season starts the first Saturday after New Year’s and runs for 10 weeks. All games are played on Saturday and every team plays each week, even during playoffs. We typically have eight teams with 8-11 players per team. The FIH rules of indoor are observed . Games consist of two 25-minutes halves played on a hard surface 6 v 6. We play indoors at In Line Sports in Morristown, NJ. Indoor sticks are mandatory.
**Cost for the Winter 2012 season is $135. Games will begin on January 7th and final week of play is March 10th.

Spring Field Hockey

This season starts in mid-April and runs through mid-May. We usually have 6-8 teams with 15-19 players per team. We normally play 6-7 games, 11 players a side. Games consist of two 30-minute halves. Games are played outdoor at Kean University in Union, NJ .

About Us

The NJFHA's goal is to provide a forum for adult women to play competitive field hockey in a friendly and fun environment.

The league currently runs three seasons. All players must be current USFHA Members, 18 or older, and no longer in high school to participate in the league.
